Lecture Details: "The Pastor as Comic Spirit: Refusing to Postpone Joy and Humor Until the Future!"
It’s easy to fall into a mode of ministry that is driven by duty not drawn by grace. This lecture, based on Dr. McKenzie’s 2023 book (co-authored with Professor Owen Lynch from SMU) affirms joy and humor as part of God’s character and a gift to human life. It paints a picture of ministry that refused to postpone joy and lightness for some future realm, but claims its power today.
